OFFICIAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF
THE CHURCHIES, LLC ART COMPETITION
1) Eligibility. The Competition is only open to participants who are legal residents of the United States, and who are 18 years or older at the time of entry.
2) Contest Period. Entries will be accepted online starting March 1, 2024 and ending July 31, 2024 (hereinafter referred to as the “Entry Period”). All online entries must be received by 11:59pm CST on June 30, 2024. All times are in the Central Standard Time Zone. Entries submitted before or after the Entry Period will not be eligible for the Competition. The Churchies reserves the right to extend the contest deadline to allow more entries.
3) How to Enter. The Competition must be entered by submitting an entry using the online form provided by this site. The entry must fulfill all Competition requirements, including artwork file, image description of Artist, eligibility, and Title of each entry, as specified, to be eligible to win. Entries that are not complete or do not adhere to the rules or specifications may be disqualified at the sole discretion of The Churchies, LLC. An artwork project is any 2 or more artwork pieces that are intended to be grouped together, collaborated with each other, or focus on the same subject or purpose as determined by The Churchies, LLC (“Artwork Project”). Per Contest Period, Entrants may submit multiple entries of different artwork or Artwork Projects per category or submit the same artwork or Artwork Project into multiple categories. Entrants must fill in all requested information requested during entry to qualify for the Competition. Entrants may not enter more times than allowed by using multiple e-mail addresses, identities, or devices in an attempt to circumvent the rules. If any Entrant uses fraudulent methods or otherwise attempts to circumvent the rules, that Entrant’s submission may be removed from eligibility at the sole discretion of The Churchies, LLC.
4) Entry Fee List. Entrants shall pay separate entry fees each time an individual piece of artwork or an Artwork Project is entered in the Competition. Prices per art entry are listed below:

5) Payment to Qualify. Submitted artwork must include the Entry Fee paid to The Churchies, LLC to qualify for the Competition. Payments shall be submitted using “Stripe” payment software. Most major credit cards will be accepted.
6) Judging. Competition entries will be judged by a panel of judges based on criteria including creativity, originality, presentation, and technical skill.
7) Prizes. Winning entries will receive a winner’s certificate from The Churches, LLC along with a personalized congratulatory letter from The Churchies, LLC. Winning entrants will also be eligible for the option to purchase a trophy. Trophies can be purchased for $155.00 (before tax) paid to The Churchies, LLC via credit card.
8) Selection of Winners. Competition winners will be notified through e-mail and first class mail using the contact information submitted upon registration. Notification will be sent within five (5) business days following the selection of contest winners.
9) Failure to Claim Prize. The Churchies, LLC shall not be held liable for Entrant’s failure to receive notices due to spam, junk e-mail, or other security settings. The Churchies, LLC shall not be held liable for Entrant’s providing of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information. If a winning Entrant cannot be contacted, is deemed ineligible, fails to claim the prize within fifteen (15) days from the time notification was sent, or fails to timely return a completed and executed declaration and releases as required, The Entrant’s prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner selected. The receipt by winning Entrants of the prize offered in this Competition is conditioned upon compliance with any and all federal, state and local laws and regulations.
ANY VIOLATION OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES BY ANY WINNING ENTRANT, DETERMINED AT THE CHURCHIES, LLC’S SOLE DISCRETION, WILL RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION OF ENTRANT AS WINNER AND ALL PRIVILEGES AS WINNER WILL BE IMMEDIATELY TERMINATED.
10) Rights Granted by Entrants. By entering this Competition, Entrant understands that The Churchies, LLC, anyone acting on behalf of the Churchies, LLC, or its respective licensees, successors, and assigns will have the right, where permitted by law, without any further notice, review or consent, to print, publish, broadcast, distribute, and use, worldwide in any media now known or hereafter in perpetuity and throughout the world, your competition entry, including without limitation, the entry and winning Entrant’s name, portrait, picture, voice, likeness, image or statements about the Competition, and biographical information as news, publicity, or information and for trade, advertising, public relations and promotional purposes without any further compensation.
11) Additional Terms. The Churchies, LLC reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Competition should a virus, bug, unauthorized human intervention, fraud, or other cause beyond its control corrupt or adversely affect the administration, security, fairness, or proper conduct of the Competition. In such case, The Churchies, LLC may judge submissions from all eligible entries received prior to and/or after (if appropriate) the action taken by The Churchies, LLC. The Churchies, LLC reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process or operation of the Competition or website or violates these Terms and Conditions. The Churchies. LLC has the right, in its sole discretion, to maintain the integrity of the Competition, to void entries for any reason, including, but not limited to: multiple entries from the same user from different IP addresses in excess of that allowed by Competition rules; multiple entries from the same computer in excess of that allowed by Competition rules; or the use of bots, macros or scripts or other technical means for entering. Any attempt by an entrant to deliberately damage any web site or undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest may be a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, The Churchies, LLC reserves the right to seek damages and other available remedies from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law.
12) Limitation of Liability. By entering this Competition, Entrant agrees to release and hold harmless The Churchies, LLC, its subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, partners, representatives, agents, successors, and assigns, employees, officers, and directors from any liability, illness, injury, death, loss, litigation, claim or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, from (a) such Entrant’s participation in this Competition and/or Entrant’s acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any prize or any portion thereof; (b) technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to the malfunctioning of any computer, cable, network, hardware, or software; (c) the unavailability or inaccessibility of any transmissions or telephone or Internet service; (d) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry or the Competition; or (e) electronic or human error which may occur in the administration of the Competition or the processing of entries.
13) Governing Law, Venue, and Dispute Resolution. This Competition, its results, and the obligation of the parties herein shall be interpreted, construed, and enforced in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas. Venue for any and all claims, disputes and controversies arising out of or relating to the interpretation or enforcement of the Competition, the operation of its terms, or the relationship of the parties (herein a “Dispute”) shall be Montgomery County, Texas. The parties and their respective heirs, legal representatives, successors and assigns hereby agree that any and all disputes shall be subjected to binding arbitration in place of litigation, as described herein. The parties bind themselves to arbitration of any Dispute under the rules and regulations of the American Arbitration Association. Either party may invoke this paragraph after providing 30 days written notice to the other party. All costs of arbitration shall be divided equally between the parties. Any award shall be binding on the parties and may be enforced by a court of law. The parties agree that the non-prevailing party at arbitration or any lawsuit shall be responsible for the costs and legal fees incurred by the prevailing party. The parties agree the arbitration shall be held at the JAMS Houston Resolution Center in Houston, Harris County, Texas.
14) Waiver. Entrant hereby waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental, or consequential damages, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, other than Entrants actual out-of-pocket expenses, (i.e. costs associated with entering this Competition). Entrant further waives all rights to have damages multiplied or increased.
15) Privacy Policy. Information submitted with an entry is subject to the Privacy Policy.
16) Refund Policy. All paid Entry Fees are non-refundable, and The Churchies, LLC does not offer any money-back guarantees. Entrants shall not be entitled to a refund under any circumstances.
